- Part 1 covers the upper 3 & 4 multiplication tables and includes eight stories.
- Part 2 covers the upper 6, 7, 8, & 9 multiplication tables and contains 10 stories.
Each part has six steps to complete to get the best success from the program. Each part typically takes 45 minutes to complete and they recommend allowing at least a week between Part 1 and introducing Part 2.
Times Tales is a creative, innovative mnemonic-based program that makes it fun and easy to memorize the upper multiplication facts. Times Tales uses cute, simple stories to allow them to quickly recall otherwise abstract facts.
- Covers the most difficult to memorize times tables: 3x6,3x7,3x8,3x9,4x6,4x7,4x8,4x9,6x6,6x7,6x8,6x9,7x7,7x8,7x9,8x8,8x9,9x9
This is non-consumable which allows your whole family to use it. It is such a fun approach to teaching the hard task of multiplication facts that my son has been begging not to do.. Not anymore! He is now excited about sitting down and doing math with the help of Times Tales.. This has been a huge blessing for our family..
You can purchase this wonderful resource at Trigger Memory System for only $29.95
I've also had the pleasure of trying their Clean & Flip Charts. I received three clean and flip charts to review and try out.
Bedroom Cleaning For Kids
Laundry For Kids
Zone Cleaning For Kids
I was excited to receive these and give them to my boys to use and try out. We've been trying really hard to give them more responsibilities as far as chores go.
Zone Cleaning for Kids is laminated and comes with an erase pen to check off as the child cleans and organizes their rooms using the chart.
It's divided into-
Living Room Zone
Kitchen Zone
Bathroom Zone
Easy to follow and understand. Each section starts out with The Day of the week jobs if you'd like to specify a job to do for that particular zone on a certain day. There is a check box for them to check it off as they go. The chart is in color with easy to follow written instructions along with pictures for those children that are not able to read. Step 4 is the day of the week job outside of what is asked through the other 3 steps such as vacuum, dust, wash off fingerprints and is marked Mon-Fri on the chart.
Bedroom Cleaning For Kids:
Bedroom Cleaning For Kids is not laminated and should not be written on. This also takes you step by step through cleaning your bedroom. For us this was a bit unneccesary as it had too many steps for our children to follow and didn't work much for us as we make sure there rooms are clean on a daily basis. For those who are not particularly worried about a daily clean than this chart might work for you. You will need at least four laundry baskets to complete the bedroom cleaning according to their steps. These laundry baskets are there to sort clothes, toys, magazines and towels etc to allow your child to put them away properly. The throwing the items into a big pile in the middle of the room didn't work great for us and then sort them into the laundry basket as it caused to many steps for my boys to keep track of.
Like I mentioned though, this chart would work great for those working on organizing their homes and giving their children more responsibilities with cleaning their rooms and home.
Laundry For Kids:
The Laundry for kids is not laminated and should not be written on. This one we didn't use all the steps since I have an expensive washer and dryer and my kiddos are only 9 and 6. I did use Step 1 to help them learn to gather and sort their laundry and it worked great for them and it was easy to understand with black and white pictures and step by step written instructions. I personally skipped step 2 and 3 as it had them load and use the washing machine. I did though have them complete step 4 and 5 which has them using the dryer since I have it preset for them. Step 6 and 7 has them folding, sorting and putting away there clothes.
I really enjoyed using these and plan to use them in the future to help train my children the proper way to take care of our home and their belongings. You too can purchase these wonderful charts at Trigger Memory System.
The entire set is sold for $29.95
or you can purchase them individually:

- Zone Cleaning Flip Chart $17.95
